Before scheduling an appointment with Bankable Transportation

All riders must first have visitation clearance from the Michigan Department of Corrections. Please do not overlook this process. If the visitor is not granted visitation for any reason from the Michigan Department of Corrections, Bankable Transportation is not responsible and will not provide any refunds. We have provided a link to the Michigan Department of corrections website Michigan.gov/corrections

What time is pick up and how long is driver at each location?

The shuttle arrives at the Bel Air location at 7 am and will wait 30 minutes for riders before departure at 730 am.

The shuttle arrives at Meijer’s on 8 mile and Woodward at 8am and will wait 30 minutes for the riders before departure at 830 am.

Is there an age limit to ride on the shuttle?

All ages are welcomed however, parents must supply their own car seat and/or booster seats for all children.

Can I reserve your service for large groups?

Yes! A group rate is considered a party of five or more. Must be booked at least 2 weeks in advance. You have one week to cancel for a full refund. If canceled after the grace period then a $25 per person fee will be charged.

How are routes determined and how will passengers be notified?

Routes are based on the location demand. This means we will pick the route that has the most ticket purchases for that day. We will confirm routes by notifying passengers at least 72-48 hours before departure time. If routes are canceled your full deposit will be returned.

Bankable Transportation provides visitor transportation to the following Michigan Department of Correctional facilities: Ionia Correctional Facility, Richard A. Handlon Correctional Facility, Michigan Reformatory, Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility, G. Robert Cotton Correctional Facility, Charles E. Egeler Reception Guidance Center, Parnall Correctional Facility, Cooper Street Correctional Facility. Will consider all special request.
